This is the structure of serine amino acid, which has a chirality centre. Coordinates were taken from ChemSpider database (available at http://www.chemspider.com/Chemical-Structure.5736.html).

The chirality centre on the parent node element has the S configuration, because the sense of rotation (from the highest to lower priority substituents) is counterclockwise (denoted by the "-" sense attribute value), when the lowest priority substituent is pointed away from the observer.
Note that id references are ordered by descending priority of substituents on the node element with the chirality centre. Substituents priority was assigned according to the Cahn-Ingold-Prelog system of priority rules. For easier implementation in software tools other algorithms can be used to assign the substituents priority.
